A MUCH needed catchup...
11th-Jul-2008 03:44 pm
OOC: Spring semester was hell so now I'm finally getting around to catching up. As of today, February's questions are completed. Now to work on the other months...

I haven't really been in the "Piper" mood lately (read: past few months) so it's been hard - hopefully this will help!

These will have the same rules as my other posts. Comments are great but what happens here, stays here. :) For this post, I've decided that her answers will be in the comments. Probably be easier considering the circumstances of catching up with five months.

Note: Sometimes it'll be from her POV and at other times it'll be me answering them.

1) What games did your character play as a child?
When Piper was growing up, she and her sister Madison were both into different types of games. Piper liked to play pretend games and play sports while Madison played dress up and played with dolls. The two however would always like to play board games together like Monopoly, Candy Land, Battle ship and Connect Four or Guess Who.

2) What does your character do for recreation?
It depends on her mood - her mood affects what she does in her spare time. Most of the time, she'll hang out with her friends. She'll write when the mood strikes. Plays sports or swims if it's nice out or go exploring if she's feeling restless.
12th-Jul-2008 02:07 pm (UTC) - Re: March
3) It’s the first day of truly good weather that your character has seen this year. What does she do?
She'd probably go and take Mars and Dame out for a walk/jog out along the beach. When it's truly nice out, she likes being out doors. Plus she knows that Mars and Dame need their exercise and would enjoy it.

4) Your character is enjoying an outdoor activity away from civilization when a particularly bad storm hits. There are others with her, including children, and there is no man-made shelter nearby. What does she do?
If these others were people she knew and loved, then they would know about her magic and they would head home via magic. If they weren't, then she would probably just gather everyone together and find a suitable place to wait out the storm (ie: cave). If she really didn't like these people then she would leave them to take care of themselves. Every man for themselves, you know?

5) A doctor tells your character that she has been fatally injured and that there is no hope for her. How does she handle the situation?
Well, first of all - she wouldn't be at the doctors because long story short? She couldn't die this way. If she was near death however, she would make sure there wasn't any other way to save her life and get everything together if need be.

But like I said - she wouldn't die this way.
12th-Jul-2008 04:33 pm (UTC) - Re: March
6) Your character is alone in the middle of nowhere. A snake bites her, and she’s/he’s pretty sure it’s a poisonous one. What does she do?
She would probably go to the doctor to grab the cure as soon as possible even though she wouldn't die from it. She wouldn't want the poison to remain in her body.

7) How does your character feel about growing old?
Considering she doesn't grow old, it's no concern of hers. She still doesn't look much older than she did a few years ago. Her style changes through the years and her hair changes whenever she wants a new look. So she doesn't get too worried about becoming older.

8) How does your character feel about her own mortality?
She's not mortal. She knows this and she's fine with it. She's basically immortal or at least ages very slowly. She knows what and what cannot harm her and everything else, she doesn't care about or pay much heed to it.
13th-Jul-2008 04:05 pm (UTC) - Re: March
9) What sort of diet does your character eat? Is she a vegetarian? Does he/she like meat? Does she prefer fresh foods, restaurant meals or instant meals?
Piper likes a lot of different meals and types of food. She likes meat but prefers chicken, duck and turkey over red meat. She likes fresh foods and homecooked meals over instant microwavable dinners.

10) What kind of physical condition is your character in?
Piper is in good physical condition. She hasn't really worked out in several months but she's still in good condition.

11) How easily does your character get bored? How does she respond to boredom?
Considering she usually has many things going on at once, she doesn't get bored easily. But when nothing is going on and she has nothing to do for once, she gets bored and she doesn't like being bored. She gets moody and lazy when she gets bored. If one of the guys are home, however, she'll usually rope one of them into doing something with her.
15th-Jul-2008 01:43 am (UTC) - Re: March
13) What was your character’s last nightmare?
These are few and far between nowadays. They used to be more present but now that she's let her dark side take over for the most part, her nightmares about being evil and reigns of terror are no longer fears nor nightmares.

Guess if she had a nightmare nowadays, it would be the good-side over taking their kingdom and what they've made it to be.

14) What was your character’s last pleasant dream?
These are far more common than nightmares for Piper. Her last pleasant dream involved Dom, Scott and herself on the yacht, sunbathing naked...

15) When your character daydreams, what does she dream about?
Piper hardly daydreams, but when and if she did daydream she would probably daydream about the many scenarios that she has running through her head for a new book or two. She hasn't written anything that hasn't been for work or school in so long - she rather misses it.

16) What’s the worst nightmare your character remembers ever having?
She's not up to discussing that currently or ever really.
23rd-Dec-2008 12:05 am (UTC) - Re: March
17) Does your character typically remember her dreams?
She only remembers if they are:

a) particularly vivid
b) about a future/past event that will happen or has happen and will be coming up again
c) so good that she wants to tell others.

Otherwise, if they're none of the above, she usually doesn't remember. Unfortunately for her, these also involve bad dreams that she rather not remember.

18) Does your character typically dream in color, or in black and white?

Color, thank you very much.

19) What, if any, chronic medical conditions does your character have, and how does she handle and treat them?

She has none. Or least any she would care to admit to in any case.

20) Your character gets up one morning in the usual fashion, but the sun never rises. What does she do?

Piper would wonder what the hell was going on then check out if there was a good reason.
23rd-Dec-2008 12:14 am (UTC) - Re: March
21) What is the first thing your character does when she gets up in the morning?
Piper enjoys her sleep so if there is no where to go or do, she'll probably stay in bed for as long as she can. When she finally manages to get out of bed however, she heads to the kitchen to fix a cup of coffee and then see's if there is anyone else up before going out on the back porch and watches the waves.

22) What is the last thing your character does before going to bed at night?
Usually on a good night (which is most nights it seems) it's sex. But otherwise if it's not sex, then she just watches a movie with Dom and Scott and ends up falling asleep before most of it's done.

23) Whom does your character most love in all the world?
Dom and Scott - she insists that they have equal places in her heart. Unconventional? Yes. But she doesn't care. It's her life, she'll do as she pleases.

24) What is your character’s most traumatic memory?
Which one? She has several that she wouldn't necessarily call her 'most' since they were all pretty traumatic in her mind. Eating Ricky's 'slop', drug dealing parents, being mind controlled into believing she loved someone when she didn't...the list could go on...
23rd-Dec-2008 12:27 am (UTC) - Re: March
25) What scars, birthmarks, tattoos, or other identifying marks does your character have? What stories lie behind them, if any?
She has a scar behind her ear from when she was a baby - it had been another way to tell Madison and her apart. She also has a few tattoos: Chinese symbol of fire on her shoulder blade with a 'D'; Triquetra at the small of her back to represent her, Dom and Scott. She wants a small infinity symbol on her hip sometime to represent her and Jordan but she has yet to talk to Austin about that.

26) How would your character’s parents describe her?
Life 1 She wouldn't know. She would hope that her father would be proud of all that she's accomplished and describe her as creative, ambitious, loving and everything he wanted in a daughter. Unfortunately, she didn't know her mother well enough to know how her mother would describe her.

Life 2 If you caught them at a moment of clarity and before they were killed passed, they might have said they thought they were proud that she had the motivation to get her life together and not follow in their footsteps. As it stands however, they were always on drugs and couldn't tell you which way was up let alone the age of their daughter.

27) What is your character’s relationship with her family like?
That's a long story...but you could get a good idea by the above question, yeah?

28) Who is your character’s worst enemy?
She wonders if she's been asked this question already.

It comes down to the cliche that she is her own worst enemy on a bad day. She's had many through the years though.

29) Who is your character’s best friend?
She has many: Jordan, Jason, Dom, Scott, Nathan, Blake, Alex, Austin, Don and Ricky. All of them are her best friends and the people she trusts with her life. And, she even includes Adonis in there but she wouldn't admit it if you asked her...

30) What one person does your character wish she didn’t have to put up with, but feels she has to?
...That used to be easy and she figures it kind of is sometimes - Adonis. But, she's slowly been getting used to him and she feels maybe in two hundred years, they could get along. But until then...

31) If your character developed a handicap or debilitating illness, how would she handle it?
Wouldn't happen as with the other diseases.
However, if it did - and she refuses to admit that it could happen - she would probably find any way to take care of it. If there was no other way, she would probably have Dom turn her. She couldn't handle being handicapped very well or have an illness.

1. Who is your character's confidant?
It depends on the situation and the thing on her mind. She'll go to all of her best friends and mates if only to see if they have something different to say. Typically they'll tell her the same thing - which she insists sucks sometimes.

2. Is your character married? Does she have a lover, significant other, girlfriend, boyfriend?
She is indeed married to Dom and Scott. She also has lovers...

3. Whom does your character live with?
Her best friends and her mates. Fun times that is...

4. If you were to use the speed dial function on your character's telephone, who would answer?
Think she's answered this before...

Top Ten:
1) Dom
2) Scott
3) Jordan
4) Don
5) Jason
6) Austin
7) Alex
8) Blake
9) Nathan
10) Ricky

5. How does your character feel about her co-workers? What are they like?
Hard question...I'll have to come back to it.
